Building a strong vocabulary is essential for effective English learning. To support learners at every stage, Langeek has prepared a series of English vocabulary PDF files based on the CEFR levels, from A1 to C2. These materials are designed to help learners study vocabulary in a clear, structured, and level-appropriate way.
Each CEFR level includes its own dedicated PDFs, allowing learners to focus only on the vocabulary suitable for their proficiency. This structured approach helps learners progress gradually without being overwhelmed by words that are too advanced or irrelevant to their level.
Every PDF contains carefully selected word lists. For each word, learners can find its pronunciation written in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) along with a clear definition. This combination helps learners improve both their understanding and their pronunciation, using a standardized pronunciation system commonly used in English learning resources.
The vocabulary lists are organized by topic rather than presented as random collections of words. Each lesson focuses on a specific theme, such as everyday life, education, work, technology, or social situations. This topic-based organization makes vocabulary easier to remember and more practical to use in real communication.
Most lessons include between 15 and 30 words, a range that keeps each lesson focused and manageable. Learners can study a single lesson in a short session and return to it later for review, making the PDFs suitable for regular, consistent study.
In addition to the downloadable PDFs, each vocabulary list includes links to the corresponding wordlists on the Langeek website. These links allow learners to read and study the same lessons online for free, offering flexibility between offline and online learning. Together, these resources provide a practical and accessible way to build English vocabulary across all CEFR levels.
